Fraxel Laser Resurfacing
We now offer both regular fraxel laser and the new Fraxel Reipair C02 laser, both which “fractionally" resurface the skin. The regular fraxel creates thousands of micro-thermal zones  which are replaced with new healthy skin in only a few days. Other than some redness and swelling for 1-4 days, there are few other side effects. As opposed to a light laser peel, this device penetrates well into the dermis of the skin. New collagen is produced, and the overall color and texture of the skin can be improved. Even  delicate  areas such as the neck, chest and close to the eyes can be treated. Usually 3-5 treatments are required at 1-4 week intervals, and makeup can be used soon after the treatment. The Fraxel Re:pair is more aggressive and suitable for deeper lines such as those around the mouth, eyes and cheeks. It can also significantly tighten the skin. There is a period of downtime which can last from 2-5 days, and only 1 or 2 treatments are required. For more details, please visit the Fraxel website
